Workstation graphics / NVIDIA Blackwell

24GB of GDDR7. A single-slot footprint.

The NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell brings local AI inference, GPU data analysis and design visualisation to a full-height, single-slot card. Its 24GB of ECC-capable GDDR7 holds models, working data and scene assets, while four DisplayPort outputs support a multi-monitor workspace.

This is the full-height RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell, with an active blower cooler and a 9.5-inch card length.

Local AI and GPU data science

Fifth-generation Tensor Cores accelerate local LLM inference, with FP4 support for compatible quantised models. CUDA-accelerated data tools can prepare and explore datasets on the same workstation. The 24GB memory budget needs to cover model or dataset storage, application buffers and, for LLMs, context memory.

From CAD models to rendered views

Fourth-generation RT cores accelerate ray tracing for lighting, reflections and shadows, helping turn CAD models into rendered design reviews. Compatible applications can also use Blackwell's neural-rendering features for interactive scene previews.

Video editing and delivery

Two ninth-generation NVENC and two sixth-generation NVDEC engines offload video encoding and decoding for editing, transcoding and streaming. H.264 and HEVC 4:2:2 support helps handle camera footage, while AV1 provides another delivery option in compatible software.

Included

One graphics card.

One NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24GB graphics card, supplied as Lenovo option part 4X61T95636 in brown-box packaging.

Lenovo's box list for this option includes a bracket, three screws and four cables, with a quick start guide. Lenovo publishes compatibility for selected ThinkStation models; for other systems, check the power cabling and fit. Plan display cables and software licences separately.

Plan your installation

What your workstation needs.

  • A compatible full-height PCIe x16 slot and clearance for the card, bracket and power cable.
  • Suitable PSU capacity and approved PCIe CEM5 16-pin auxiliary power cabling.
  • Chassis airflow appropriate to the card and the wider system.
  • A supported operating system, NVIDIA driver and application stack; suitable display cables where needed.
Will it fit a low-profile case?

This is a full-height card measuring 4.4 inches high by 9.5 inches long. It occupies one slot, but it is not the low-profile SFF Edition. Check the chassis height, card clearance and space for the power cable.

Can I connect four monitors?

Yes. Four DisplayPort 2.1b outputs support up to four simultaneous displays. The available resolution, refresh rate and colour format depend on your displays, cables and software.

What power connection does it need?

One PCIe CEM5 16-pin auxiliary power connection. Use cabling approved for your system or PSU. Lenovo lists 140W maximum power for this option and NVIDIA lists 145W board power; allow for the higher figure when planning system power.

What is included?

One RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24GB graphics card, supplied as Lenovo option part 4X61T95636 in brown-box packaging with the bracket, screws and cables Lenovo lists for this option. Lenovo publishes compatibility for selected ThinkStation models; for other systems, confirm the power cabling and fit. Plan display cables and software licences separately.
