The NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition brings local AI inference, CAD visualisation and video work to compact workstations and edge systems. Its 24GB of ECC-capable GDDR7 holds models, assemblies and scene data, while four Mini DisplayPort 2.1b outputs support a multi-monitor desk.
This is the low-profile, dual-slot SFF Edition: 6.6 inches long, rated at 70W and installed without an auxiliary power cable.

Local AI and edge inference
Fifth-generation Tensor Cores accelerate LLM and generative-AI inference, with FP4 support for compatible quantised models. A 70W rating with no auxiliary power cable suits small desktops and edge systems that run vision or inference workloads close to where data is captured. The 24GB memory budget needs to cover the model, application buffers and, for LLMs, context memory.
CAD, simulation and design review
Fourth-generation RT cores accelerate ray-traced lighting and reflections for CAD, AEC and product-design visualisation. GDDR7 memory gives large assemblies and scene assets room alongside rendering buffers, and supported applications can use RTX Mega Geometry and neural-rendering features for detailed interactive views.
Video editing and streaming
Two ninth-generation NVENC and two sixth-generation NVDEC engines offload encoding and decoding for editing, transcoding and live streaming. H.264 and HEVC 4:2:2 support helps with professional camera footage, and AV1 encoding provides another delivery option in compatible software.

What your workstation needs.
A physical x16 PCIe slot with two-slot clearance, in a low-profile or full-height chassis.
Airflow to the card's blower fan and PSU capacity for the complete system.
Mini DisplayPort cables, or Mini DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort adapters, for your displays.
A supported operating system, NVIDIA driver and application stack.
How does this differ from the standard RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell?
Both have 24GB of GDDR7 with ECC, 8,960 CUDA cores and the same video engines. The SFF Edition is a low-profile, dual-slot card rated at 70W, with 432GB/s memory bandwidth, a PCIe 5.0 x8 interface, four Mini DisplayPort outputs and no auxiliary power connector. The standard card is full-height and single-slot, with 672GB/s bandwidth, PCIe 5.0 x16, four full-size DisplayPort outputs, a higher board-power rating and a 16-pin auxiliary power connection.
Can I use it in a full-height tower as well as a compact system?
Yes. The card is half height, so it suits low-profile systems, and it can be installed in a standard full-height slot when fitted with a full-height (ATX) bracket. It occupies two slot positions in either case.
What should I check before installing it?
Check for a physical x16 PCIe slot, two slot positions of clearance and airflow to the blower fan. The card uses eight PCIe 5.0 lanes; link speed depends on the motherboard slot and platform. It is rated at 70W total board power and needs no auxiliary power cable, but size the PSU for the complete system.
Can I connect four monitors?
Yes. Four Mini DisplayPort 2.1b outputs support up to four 3840 x 2160 displays at 165Hz, or two 7680 x 4320 displays at 100Hz. Displays with full-size DisplayPort inputs need Mini DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort cables or adapters. Available modes depend on the displays, cables and software.
What is included?
